At Human Capital Outsourcing Limited, we are seeking a skilled Barman / Mixologist to join a luxury hospitality environment. This role is central to providing an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established hotel standards. The ideal candidate will combine technical mixology expertise with a professional demeanor and a commitment to luxury service standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to hotel standards.
- Create classic and signature cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency.
- Provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar area at all times.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Process orders accurately through POS systems and manage billing efficiently.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Contribute to new drink menu development and seasonal beverage promotions.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field. (BA/BSc/HND also accepted).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a barman/mixologist in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, and beverage trends.
- Experience in luxury service standards and guest engagement.
- Valid food handling and alcohol service certification (where applicable).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Creativity and strong mixology techniques.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
