About the Role
CJ's Restaurants is seeking a creative and energetic Barista to join its team in Nairobi. The role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, managing bar inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and creatively mix ingredients for various drinks.
Evaluate customer preferences to offer tailored recommendations while maintaining a fast-paced workflow.
Manage bar inventory, conduct stock verifications, and adhere to specific serving sizes for cost efficiency.
Follow designated pastry baking schedules (starting as early as 4:30 am or 5:00 am) and uphold strict food safety and hygiene policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification: BA/BSc/HND or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience as a barista or bartender with comprehensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.
Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate professional dedicated to customer satisfaction and teamwork.
Exceptional physical fitness and stamina to handle a demanding, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Consistent honesty, excellent communication skills, and strict adherence to personal grooming standards.
