Accor is seeking a creative and dedicated Banquet Chef to lead the Banquet Kitchen in Nairobi. The Banquet Chef plays a key role in the daily functioning of the Banquet Kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management. This role involves developing new culinary concepts, creating and introducing menus and standardized recipes, and maintaining food costs at a minimum. The successful candidate ensures maximum food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards while leading and developing the banquet kitchen team to deliver memorable event experiences.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Oversee the efficient daily functioning of the Banquet Kitchen and coordinate resource allocation and controls.\n* Develop new culinary concepts, create and introduce innovative menus, and establish standardized recipes.\n* Manage ordering and monitor kitchen resources to minimize food costs while maintaining quality.\n* Lead, train, and coach banquet kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and maintain high service standards.\n* Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely in accordance with hotel and Food Safety guidelines.
