Job Description
The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya. We are currently offering an internship opportunity for a Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics graduate. This role is designed to provide practical experience in medical research and data handling within a national research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement research projects and supervise designated aspects of the work.
Carry out fieldwork and laboratory experimental procedures.
Organize internal scientific seminars.
Interpret and validate research results.
Maintain the scientific laboratory in good working condition.
Ensure that all chemicals, reagents, and consumables are properly stored in the laboratory.
Vacancy Requirements
Be a Kenyan youth below 30 years of age (Mandatory).
Must have graduated and obtained the relevant final degree certificate in Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics (Mandatory).
Possess analytical and report writing skills (Mandatory).
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills (Mandatory).
Provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (Added Advantage).
