The Automotive Industry Branch Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing branch staff, supervising branch operations, and ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis. The role involves leading a team to drive business performance through acquisition, coaching, engagement, business development, and retention of customer relationships. The manager will foster a sales culture across all levels to meet and exceed established sales and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management: Organizing and executing training programs for branch personnel, evaluating employee performance, and providing feedback and coaching. Recognizing employee achievements and encouraging excellence.
Sales & Operations: Developing and implementing sales plans, and conducting regular sales, after-sales, and operations meetings. Briefing employees on current sales goals, promotions, and relevant information.
Marketing & Brand Awareness: Organizing marketing activities and events for the branch and increasing brand awareness within the community.
Customer Relations: Interacting with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction, gain feedback, and resolve problems as needed.
Business Planning: Assessing market conditions to identify opportunities, drafting forecasts and business plans, and managing budgets while allocating funds to meet financial objectives.
Collaboration: Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge and plan promotional activities.
Compliance & Standards: Adhering to high ethical and professional standards and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Performance Targets: Achieving monthly sales and aftersales (Workshop and Parts) targets, and driving productivity through creative employee engagement strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a related field, or the equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within the Automotive business or a related field.
Proven Track Record: Experience in growing branch revenues and managing relationships with stakeholders.
Skills: Strong customer service skills and relationship management capabilities.
