Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering a three-month industrial attachment program for students pursuing Media Studies. This program is designed to provide continuing students with practical experience and exposure to a professional working environment within a government agency responsible for revenue collection.
Responsibilities and Duties
While specific daily duties are assigned upon placement, interns in the Media Studies department generally assist with:
Media monitoring and reporting.
Content creation for internal and external communications.
Supporting the public relations team in event planning and execution.
Assisting with the maintenance of digital and physical media archives.
General administrative support within the communications department.
Requirements and Qualifications
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Must be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Must possess a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 (subject to statutory deductions) will be provided for the duration of the attachment.
Duration: The program is strictly for three months and is not subject to extension.
Required Documentation for Selected Candidates: Proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
