Job Description
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an Industrial Attachment program for ICT students. This program is designed to provide students with practical experience and professional skills within a dynamic government environment for a duration of three months. This initiative is geared towards students currently enrolled in ICT-related degree or diploma programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
While specific daily duties are assigned upon placement, interns in the ICT department are typically involved in:
Assisting in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Supporting the installation and configuration of systems and applications.
Participating in basic network maintenance and connectivity support.
Helping with technical documentation and IT asset management.
Providing first-line technical support to KRA staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Must be a continuing undergraduate student (BA/BSc) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, OR a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Must possess a valid introduction letter from the University or College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 (subject to applicable statutory deductions) will be paid to both undergraduate and diploma students.
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not subject to extension.
Documentation for Selected Candidates: If selected, candidates must submit proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
