The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering a three-month Industrial Attachment program specifically for students pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering. This program is designed to provide continuing undergraduate and diploma students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and professional exposure within a leading government institution. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application in the field of electrical systems and infrastructure management.
Requirements
To be eligible for this program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Citizenship: Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Education: Must be a continuing undergraduate student in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Documentation: Possess a valid introduction letter from their respective University or College.
Availability: Be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program.
Important Details and Terms
Duration: The program lasts for three months and is not subject to extension.
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 for undergraduates and diploma students will be paid (subject to applicable statutory deductions).
Compliance: Selected candidates will be required to submit proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
Cost: The Authority does not charge any fee for the recruitment or attachment process.
Selection: Only selected candidates will be contacted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
