Prime Bank Kenya is seeking an ATMS, CDMS Officer to ensure the effective operation, availability, monitoring, and maintenance of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs). The primary goal of this role is to minimize downtime and coordinate timely incident resolution to deliver seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Lifecycle: Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of ATMs and CDMs.
Monitoring & Uptime: Monitor the fleet of ATMs and CDMs to ensure 24/7 availability; conduct Disaster Recovery Drills.
Support & Training: Provide daily support to ATM/CDM custodians and lead training for standard and intelligent machine operations.
Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors for issue resolution and implement new requirements such as software upgrades, template installations, and security suite management.
System Testing: Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ATM/CDM backend systems, including Kich, Simbank Middleware, and Passport servers.
Compliance: Implement audit requirements on terminal and backend systems; assist internal teams with customer dispute resolutions.
User Management: Manage user profiles on the Kich Portal.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in ATM/CDM support, card operations, switch operations, or general banking operations.
Expertise: Exposure to ATM reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and dispute resolution.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory and audit requirements within the banking environment.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of ATM monitoring systems and switching platforms is a significant advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of terminal transaction flows and operations.
Knowledge of ATM/CDM security standards and fraud risk controls.
Ability to analyze transaction logs to resolve exceptions.
Basic understanding of core banking systems and reconciliation processes.
