Job Description
As an Associate Market Access Specialist at IQVIA, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of stroke patient management within Kenya. This position involves serving as an expert Therapeutic Consultant to hospitals, emergency medical services (EMS), and healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be providing continuous training, organizational tools, and promoting the latest diagnostic and treatment guidelines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients across designated healthcare facilities.
Provide continuous training and organizational tools to support hospitals, EMS, and healthcare professionals.
Promote new diagnostic and treatment guidelines to hospitals as a specialized Therapeutic Consultant.
Implement and advocate for quality monitoring programs to maintain consistent performance standards in hospitals and EMS.
Expand the project's impact by extending reach to new hospitals and healthcare institutions.
Lead multidisciplinary stroke teams, driving continuous improvement in clinical processes.
Enhance and optimize therapeutic protocols in major medical facilities.
Requirements & Skills
Educational Background: A strong scientific background is required, ideally a PhD in Neuroscience.
Technical Skills: Experience within a healthcare environment, specifically working with healthcare organizations and medical professionals.
Soft Skills: High motivation, strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively.
Operational Skills: Accountability, ownership, and the resilience to operate in fast-paced clinical environments.
Communication: Full fluency in English.
Mobility: A valid Kenyan driving license and status as an experienced driver are mandatory.
Travel: Availability to travel up to 70% of the time to support various hospital locations.
Eligibility: Legal eligibility to work full-time in Kenya.
