Job Description
The Boma Hotels is looking for an Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and management of all room bookings while maintaining high standards of guest service and revenue optimization. The role involves overseeing reservation systems, handling guest inquiries professionally, and coordinating with various departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
Process and manage room reservations accurately and efficiently through all booking channels.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate reservation records in the Property Management System (PMS).
Handle booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and guest inquiries professionally.
Support revenue optimization through effective upselling and rate management.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a reputable hotel.
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tours & Travel, Front Office Operations, or a related field.
Proficiency in PMS (Opera or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
