Role Overview\nThis is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer to provide secretarial and administrative support services to the County Government.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Taking oral dictation and performing word and data processing.\n- Operating office equipment and handling telephone calls and appointments.\n- Attending to visitors and clients with professionalism.\n- Maintaining the office diary and travel itineraries.\n- Establishing and monitoring procedures for record keeping, correspondence, and file movement.\n- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system and managing office protocol.\n- Ensuring the security of office records, equipment, and documents, including classified materials.\n- Supervising office cleanliness and undertaking any other office administrative duties assigned.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\nFor appointment to this grade, an officer must have:\n- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade C- (Minus) with at least C (Plain) in English or Kiswahili Language or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\n- Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).\n\n\n\n- Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from KNEC in the following subjects:\n - Typewriting III (50 wpm)/Computerized Document Processing III;\n - Shorthand II (minimum 80 wpm);\n - Office Management III/Office Administration and Management III;\n - Business English II/Communication I;\n - Office Practice II;\n - Secretarial Duties II;\n - Commerce II.\n- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.\n\n### Salary and Terms of Service\n- Kshs. 26,900 - 35,380 per month (with various increments).\n- Permanent and Pensionable.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified?
