Assistant Librarian

At FLY ALS, our mission is to provide flight services that are reliable and elevate the journey for our customers. We are currently looking for an Assistant Librarian with excellent coordination and documentation skills to manage technical publications and support the integrity of our documentation systems across the organization.\n\n### Role Overview\nReporting to the Central Librarian, the Assistant Librarian will be responsible for ensuring technical library systems are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards (AOC and AMO). This role involves significant coordination between departments and line stations to maintain documentation integrity.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Assist in organizing and maintaining a centralized technical library incorporating AOC and AMO systems to ensure the most current manuals are in circulation.\n* Update all aircraft onboard libraries to maintain compliance with regulatory and company operational standards.\n* Liaise with Line Station Managers to ensure all stations are furnished and updated with the latest technical publications.\n* Assist in managing in-house publications issued by Operations and Maintenance departments, ensuring proper version control and distribution.\n* Provide instructions, procedures, and guidance to employees handling technical publications.\n* Record and distribute manuals, while recalling and archiving outdated data.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* A degree or diploma in Library Science, Information Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.\n* At least one (1) year of working experience within a library department in the aviation industry.\n* Computer literacy with above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.\n* Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.\n* Familiarity with document control systems and aviation regulations is an added advantage.\n* Proven ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with multiple departments.\n\n### How to Apply\nQualified candidates are invited to apply through the online form provided at the following link: .
