Assistant ERP Support Officer

Key Responsibilities

Functional System Support

• Provide day-to-day functional support to ERP users across departments.
• Analyse and resolve issues related to business processes, configurations, and system usage.
• Escalate technical defects with clearly documented functional analysis.

ERP Configuration

• Support maintenance of system setups, including approval workflows, coding structures, and configurable parameters.
• Ensure configuration updates are properly documented and tested before release.

Business Process Alignment

• Engage with departments to understand operational requirements and system challenges.
• Document functional requirements and support their translation into technical solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of ERP-enabled processes.

Testing & Change Management

• Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements and updates.
• Assist in preparing test scenarios and validating results.

Reporting & Data Governance

• Support generation and interpretation of ERP reports.
• Promote accurate system usage and adherence to data standards.
• Assist in maintaining data integrity across modules.

Training & Documentation

• Support onboarding and refresher training for ERP users.
• Maintain functional documentation and user guidance materials.

Requirements and Experience

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a functional capacity.
• Practical exposure to core business processes such as finance, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience supporting ERP users and documenting functional requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
