Assistant Director Physical Planning

Isiolo County Government is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Director Physical Planning. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing urban, regional, and county physical planning policies to ensure sustainable developmental growth within the county.

Requirements for Appointment

• Serve in the grade of Senior Assistant Director of Physical Planning for a minimum period of three (3) years.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, or any equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.
• A Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
• Hold corporate membership with the Kenya Institute of Planners (KIP), Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK - Town Planning Chapter), or Town & County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK).
• Certificate in a Senior Management Course (lasting not less than 4 weeks) from a recognized institution.
• Computer proficiency.
• Be registered by the Physical Planners Registration Board.
• Demonstrated merit and outstanding ability as reflected in work performance and results.
• Fulfill all requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
