Assistant Director, Internal Audit
Academic and Professional Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Business Administration, or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Certified Public Accountants (CPA K), Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A); or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Registration and membership in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), or any other recognized professional body.
A Senior Management Course from a recognized institution.
Compliance with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a Senior Internal Auditor (JSG 4) or in a comparable and relevant position.
