Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a bakery based in Eastleigh, for an Assistant Baker.
The ideal candidate should be hardworking, disciplined, and willing to support daily bakery operations including cleaning, preparation work, and assisting in baking activities. This role is suitable for individuals looking to grow their experience within a bakery or food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in basic baking preparation activities.
Support the baker during production processes.
Clean baking equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the bakery area.
Assist in handling ingredients and supplies.
Support packaging and arrangement of baked products where necessary.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
Carry out any other duties assigned within the bakery operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Hardworking and willing to learn.
Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
