TaxServ & RisConsult (TS & RC) was incorporated in March 2019 to provide a one-stop shop for financial, tax, risk, and management consulting services. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team in Nairobi.
The position is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing month-end close procedures, maintaining financial reporting, and ensuring strict compliance with all tax and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting using QuickBooks and Excel-based models.
Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, NHIF, and NSSF).
Manage payroll and supplier payments.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
CPA II qualification (a degree in Finance or a related field is an added advantage).
At least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory reporting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
BA/BSc/HND degree preferred.
