Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
Possess a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification.
Have a Government Trade Test Certificate Grade I, II or III in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Possess a Technician Certificate Part III or Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Installation from a recognized institution, where specified.
Have at least three (3) years' experience as an Artisan II (Electrical) or in a comparable position for promotion to Artisan I.
Have demonstrated merit and ability in work performance.
