Job Description

Rose of Sharon Academy is looking for a dedicated and creative Art & Design Teacher. Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a comprehensive Art & Design curriculum that inspires creativity and artistic growth in students.
Plan and execute lessons covering various artistic mediums, techniques, and art history.
Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a safe and productive environment for artistic expression.
Evaluate and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
Provide mentorship to students, guiding them both academically and spiritually.
Organize and coordinate student art exhibitions or school displays.
Collaborate with faculty members to support the school's mission and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art & Design Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC Number required).
Must be a saved and practicing Christian.
Submit an updated CV and copies of academic and professional certificates.
Provide a recommendation letter from a church or a previous employer.
