The Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and managing distributor relationships within a designated territory. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets for cement products and ensuring efficient channel management through proactive field engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement: Deliver monthly and quarterly cement tonnage and revenue targets across the territory, driving both primary distributor sales and secondary retail sell-through to maintain consistent volume and channel balance.
Distributor Management: Monitor distributor stock levels, order frequency, and off-take patterns to prevent stock-outs and overstocking. Support distributors in planning and maintaining adequate supply to serve downstream demand.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of field sales experience, ideally in Cement, Building Materials, Paints, or FMCG.
