As an Application Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout the job lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with service delivery teams and clients to understand and meet well construction or production objectives through expert engineering design and risk management. Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
Work with assigned Service Delivery Coordinators or sales personnel to understand client well construction or production objectives.
Design well profiles and perform applications engineering tasks, including risk mitigation and contingency plans, to meet client objectives and maximize revenue potential.
Handle field incidents related to products and services and participate in incident investigations to ensure end-to-end resolution.
Provide sales support and product application recommendations based on technical analysis.
Manage special engineering projects as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in well planning or applications engineering roles within Drilling Services.
Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
Ability to travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, and training sessions.
Availability to be on call outside of standard business hours.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and planning skills.
