Role Overview
Metropolitan Hospital was founded in 1995 to provide high-quality medical care in a welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe anesthesia, perioperative care, critical care, and pain management, requiring strong leadership and independent clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe administration of anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
Manage perioperative care, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
Oversee critical care and pain management protocols.
Exercise clinical leadership and make independent, high-stakes decisions regarding patient care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Doctor of Medicine (MD).
Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia.
Valid registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification.
