Analyst - East and Central Africa

Primary Responsibilities

• Investor Documentation: Prepare investor documents including teasers, investment memoranda, and business plans.
• Market Research & Assessments: Conduct macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational assessments of relevant companies, industries, markets, and topics.
• Sector Analysis: Provide sector analysis of priority areas for investment.
• Investor Sourcing: Lead the identification of qualified investors and manage investor relationships.
• Financial Modeling: Develop valuation and operational financial models.
• Transaction Execution: Coordinate due diligence and transaction execution processes.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities.
• Event Support: Support the organization of conferences and other networking events.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in high-caliber consulting or finance organizations.
• Regional Experience: Experience working in developing countries, particularly in Africa, is highly valued.
