Role Overview

As an Air Logistics Perishable Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process for perishable goods. This involves coordinating with customers, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient booking procedures with airlines to facilitate the smooth transit of temperature-sensitive cargo.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection: Collecting data in terms of expected volumes from our customers.
Booking Management: Arranging booking reservations with relevant airlines depending on forecasts received from customers in Kaplog.
Customer Updates: Updating customers on the status of their requests and where confirmed forwarding booking confirmations and details.
Query Resolution: Attending to customers’ queries promptly.
Documentation: Inserting customer details on Salog system to generate Mawb’s (Master Air Waybill) / Hawb’s (House Airway Bill).
Flight Planning: Preparing weekly flight bookings in Kaplog and updating daily bookings for the day indicating confirmed capacity against booked capacity.
Operational Liaison: Updating platform staff on expected deliveries from concerned customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma in Supply Chain Management with a strong foundation in logistics principles and international trade. A degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in Air Logistics Operations, specializing in perishable cargo handling.
Technical Skills: Proficient in processing and managing Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) and House Air Waybills (HAWBs), ensuring accurate linkage and timely closure before cut-off times.
Regulatory Knowledge: Ensures alignment of shipping instructions with country-specific regulations, export compliance, and routing protocols.
Soft Skills: Exceptional planning, communication, and organizational skills; detail-oriented, agile, and quick to learn new systems.
Relationship Management: Ability to build strong client relationships through responsive communication and reliable service delivery.
