The After-School AI Program Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons in front-end web development to upper primary students. The tutor will support the development of digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving through interactive sessions and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured lessons in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript aligned with the program curriculum.
- Facilitate interactive, hands-on coding workshops to reinforce student understanding.
- Guide students through individual and group projects, including online portfolios and real-world simulations.
- Provide mentorship and support during the project.
- Foster an inclusive, creative, and collaborative learning environment for all students.
- Track attendance, monitor progress, and report outcomes to the CSR Officer.
- Support logistics, resource availability, and coordination of sessions with the CSR team.
- Contribute to program documentation, student feedback, and end-of-program evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring coding, especially to adolescents or beginners.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery).
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into accessible content for young learners.
- Experience with project-based learning methodologies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
