Job Description
Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is looking for an Administration Officer Intern to support various administrative and facility management functions. This role is designed to provide practical experience in office management, logistics, and general administration within a large corporate environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensuring that office furniture and equipment are maintained.
Overseeing daily and weekly cleaning of offices.
Receiving, distributing, and keeping inventory of office furniture.
Facilitating the movement of employees to new workstations.
Issuing tea accessories and other essentials to employees.
Replenishing printing papers in the photocopiers.
Ensuring that the offices and their environs are clean and orderly all the time.
Ensuring clean drinking water and refreshments for employees is provided.
Managing incoming and outgoing mails, parcels, and bulky goods within the company.
Ensuring reprographic equipment, telephones, and shredders are in good working condition.
Facilitating payment of utility bills.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
