Adjunct Faculty – Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Management

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess Pharmaceutical Management courses to undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Pharmacy program.
• Introduce and mark practical and case-based reports for assigned courses that have a practical component.
• Support and mentor students in their academic and career endeavors.
• Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure programs and teaching content remain up-to-date and marketable.
• Participate in program assessment and reviews.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmacy, Pharmacoeconomics, Health Systems Management, or a closely related discipline from a recognized/accredited university.
• A PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Management, Health Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized/accredited university will be an added advantage.
• A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board will be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching experience; demonstrated ability to teach pharmaceutical management, pharmaceutical supply chain, or health economics to students from diverse disciplines will be an added advantage.
