KASNEB, a state corporation established under the National Treasury by the Government of Kenya, is seeking to engage Accredited Assessors. KASNEB's mandate involves the development of syllabuses, conducting professional, diploma, and technician examinations, and certifying candidates in accountancy, finance, credit, governance, management, and information technology. The role of an Accredited Assessor is essential to maintaining certification standards and ensuring quality assessment within the respective occupational areas.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments in accordance with KASNEB syllabuses and standards.
Utilize Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) methodologies to evaluate candidate performance.
Verify technical competencies in specific occupational fields.
Maintain detailed and accurate assessment records.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols as set by KASNEB and TVETA.
Liaise with professional bodies and relevant industry stakeholders where necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
Possess relevant academic and professional qualifications in the respective occupational area (BA/BSc/HND).
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant industry or training experience.
Formal training in CBET methodology and assessment practice.
Valid accreditation as an Assessor by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).
Registration with a relevant professional body (where applicable).
