Accounts Intern

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and financial documents.
• Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and update accounting software systems.
• Support the payroll processing function and the preparation of statutory deductions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure proper filing and organized documentation of all financial records.
• Support audit and tax compliance assignments as requested by the management.
• Perform any other accounting-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA(K) qualification or ongoing CPA professional studies will be considered a significant advantage.
• 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• A high level of integrity, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
