Accounts Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and organize accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with invoicing, posting transactions, and filing financial documents.
• Support the team during monthly closing and financial reporting periods.
• Help with expense tracking and cost allocation across projects.
• Participate in inventory reconciliation where applicable.
• Support audit preparation by providing necessary documentation.
• Perform data entry in accounting systems such as Sage and QuickBooks.
• Assist with tax compliance tasks, including VAT and withholding tax filings.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• CPA (Part I or II) is considered an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn.
