Accounts Clerk

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial and accounting operations of the organization. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Support the accounting team in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM).
• Attainment of CPA Section 3 certification is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in accounting software.
