Reporting to the Supervisor – Accounts Reconciliation, the Accounts Assistant – Medical will be responsible for receipting, banking, and reconciliation of daily banking against receipts. The role holder will also be responsible for the dispatch of receipts to customers and managing relationships with medical service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation: Reconcile service providers’ accounts to verify the accurate debt status.
Account Sign-offs: Facilitate formal sign-offs on service provider accounts to ensure agreement on outstanding balances.
Payment Management: Manage and provide payment processes for service providers.
Remittances: Handle the sending of provider remittances and the dispatch of cheques to service providers.
Provider Communication: Maintain constant communication with providers regarding credit accounts and related financial issues.
Negotiation: Conduct discount negotiations and follow up to ensure payments are processed within set timelines.
Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Provider & Forensic Management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Professional Certification: CPA qualification is an added advantage.
