Peaks Hotel Nanyuki, a tranquil and secluded escape near Mount Kenya, is seeking a qualified Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the hotel by managing accounting records, ensuring tax compliance, and providing analytical reports to management.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and manage daily financial operations.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns in compliance with Kenyan laws.
Prepare financial reports and provide analytical support for business decisions.
Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage and present financial data.
Communicate financial information effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent business-related course.
Full professional qualification - CPA (K).
At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
Thoroughly conversant with relevant tax regulations in Kenya.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Highly developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
