Accountant

Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts and ensuring the financial integrity of the organization through diligent record-keeping and compliance with statutory requirements.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.\n* Record and manage daily financial transactions within the accounting system.\n* Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.\n* Perform regular bank, petty cash, and supplier account reconciliations.\n* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.\n* Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.\n* Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking.\n* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and VAT.\n* Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and reference purposes.\n* Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.\n* Monitor cash flow and provide insights on the organization’s financial position.\n* Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.\n* Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned.\n\n### Qualifications & Experience\n* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.\n* CPA Part II or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.\n* Minimum of 1–2 years’ relevant accounting experience.\n* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.\n* Strong understanding of Kenyan statutory and tax regulations.\n* Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.\n* High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online by visiting the AMSOL application page at or via their official website at .
