The 3W Technician (Tuk-tuk) is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of three-wheeled vehicles. The role aims to ensure optimal vehicle performance, minimize mechanical downtime, and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify technical problems or errors and determine appropriate solutions for repair.
Installation and Maintenance: Manage all on-site installation, repair, and testing tasks for vehicles.
Preventative Maintenance: Devise and implement preventative measures to avoid vehicle or machine downtime.
Performance Analysis: Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to ensure machinery meets company specifications.
Field Support: Provide technical service and customer support during field visits or specialized service clinics.
Inventory Management: Monitor the availability of workshop parts and ensure supplies are replenished as needed.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of mechanical services and documentation of work processes.
Customer Relations: Maintain positive relations with both customers and fellow employees.
Equipment Safety: Ensure the safe and efficient use of all mechanical machinery and equipment.
Workplace Standards: Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere strictly to industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related technical field.
A valid driving license specifically for Tuk-tuks.
Superior knowledge of three-wheeled vehicle products.
A positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction and excellence in service.
